Photography should honor the celebration—not take you away from it.

Extraordinary weddings require extraordinary amounts of thought. The design. The fashion. The flowers. The music. The menu. The lighting. The guest experience. The months of work your creative team has poured into bringing an idea to life.
I love all of it. And I believe all of it deserves to be photographed beautifully. But photography should never make your wedding feel like a production to you. You should be able to experience the dinner you've planned, finish the conversation you're having, hug your grandmother, dance with your friends, and actually see the room you've spent months creating.

My job is to know when to step in and make the photograph and when to let you linger exactly where you are.

Every celebration begins with understanding what matters to you.

Long before the wedding day arrives, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I want to understand your relationship, the people who matter most, the traditions you're carrying forward, and the experience you're creating for everyone you've invited. Understanding all of it allows me to photograph your wedding with intention and knowing which moments require space, which details deserve attention, and what will matter most when you return to these photographs years from now.

"Crystal is the most phenomenal photographer and human being. She went above and beyond on our wedding pictures and day after pictures! Absolutely love her!

A thoughtful approach to every moment.

Beautiful photographs don't happen by accident. They require preparation, experience, artistic instinct, and the confidence to make decisions quickly when a wedding day inevitably shifts.

After more than a decade photographing weddings, I know how to lead when leadership is needed. I can move a portrait session forward without making it feel rushed. Organize a large family efficiently. Find the light before it disappears. Create an editorial portrait with intention. Adjust when weather changes the plan. Navigate complicated timelines while protecting the experience you and your creative team have worked so hard to create. And when something real begins unfolding in front of me, I know when the best thing I can do is stop directing and pay attention.

That discernment is at the heart of how I work. The result is a collection that feels polished without becoming performative, artful without losing its humanity, and unmistakably yours.

Film and digital, working together.

I learned photography on film. Before digital photography became part of my process, there were rolls of film, darkrooms, contact sheets, and the discipline of making each frame with intention. That foundation still shapes the way I photograph today. Film gives me its extraordinary texture, depth, color, and tactile beauty. Digital gives me the speed and flexibility to respond instinctively to the constantly changing rhythm of a wedding day. Together, they allow me to create a body of work that feels dimensional, true to life, and enduring.

Collaboration is at the heart of every celebration.

The most memorable weddings are built by talented people working toward a shared vision. Planners, designers, florists, musicians, chefs, venues, stationers, stylists, and countless others bring their expertise to the experience long before I arrive with a camera. I respect that work deeply. Photography should support the creative vision, protect the guest experience, and give every carefully considered detail the attention it deserves without creating unnecessary disruption.

From timeline collaboration and room reveals to family photographs and fleeting changes in light, I bring both creative perspective and more than a decade of wedding-day experience to the team. Because the best work happens when everyone in the room knows their craft and trusts one another enough to do it well.

The story continues long after the wedding day.

Eventually the music ends, the flowers come down, and everyone you love travels home. The photographs remain. Receiving your gallery is the beginning of the next part of their life: printing them, living with them, returning to them, and eventually placing them into the hands of people who weren't there when they were made.

Together, we'll preserve your photographs through heirloom albums, fine art prints, and pieces meant to become part of your home. So years from now, you can sit down, turn the pages, and linger longer with the people and promises that began it all.

Frequently asked questions

How far do you travel?

Wherever your celebration leads. While based in Georgia, I photograph weddings throughout the Southeast and destinations around the world.

Do you photograph on film?

Yes. Film is foundational to the way I learned photography and remains an important part of my work. Every wedding is photographed using both analog film and digital photography, allowing me to use each medium intentionally throughout the celebration.

How many weddings do you accept each year?

I intentionally photograph a limited number of celebrations each year. This gives me the time and creative space to know my couples well, collaborate thoughtfully with their creative teams, and bring my full attention to every wedding I photograph.

When should we reach out?

Most couples inquire 12–18 months before their celebration. Because my calendar remains intentionally limited, I recommend reaching out once your date and venue are secured.

The Investment

Every wedding is different, and collections are thoughtfully tailored around the celebration you're creating.

Wedding photography begins at $10,000, with custom collections available for destination celebrations and multi-day wedding weekends.

Your investment reflects more than the hours I spend photographing your wedding. It encompasses more than a decade of experience, an artist's eye developed through years of study and practice, thoughtful preparation, collaboration with your creative team, and the discernment to create beautiful work while allowing you to remain fully inside the experience.

If this feels like the experience you've been searching for...

I'd love to hear what you're creating. Tell me about the two of you, the people you're gathering, the ideas you're excited about, and what you hope it all feels like when you're finally there. Then, when the day comes, live it. We'll make something beautiful from everything that unfolds.
